I would be curious to read the complete report because a report can never do a report complete justice.
I found the beliefs by demographic categories to be very interesting, especially as they broke out along liberal/conservative lines and would like to see more data on that.
Hi there! No problem on the spam, Bob had sent me a note which I hadn't answered yet, bad me!
I would like to get 4gals for myself and 4 for Hugh my apprentice. If you could bring them in gallon jugs that would be great because I'll be sending him home with his share. I'd like to get a selection of apples too if I may. I like the variety you have gotten for us in the past. Hugh also asked especially if they had Bramleys and if so if you could get him a bag or two, otherwise he'd like couple of bags of assorted apples.
It's better to get this sort of information to me anyway - I'm the one who keeps the lists. ;-)
Four gallons each for you and Hugh are no problem - I wouldn't offer if it was an imposition. I toyed *briefly* with the idea of posting something to the list, and then decided against it!
I haven't found out yet if Hillside Orchard is going to be there on Saturday, and I need to call them to ask. I don't recall at all if they have Bramleys, and I really need to start keeping a list of which apples I bring you. But either way if they're there, I'll bring you and Hugh each a couple of bags of apples. I'm pushing heirloom apples on everyone I can.
Here's a relevant question - is the cider for drinking sweet, or for fermenting? I ask because the cider that Bob picks out to bring back for brewing is not necessarily the blend that I pick to bring back for drinking NOW...
You're welcome - I love escalating orders! I exchanged voicemails with Hillside Orchard, and they won't have as much this year but they're coming with what they can. So there will be some sort of apples coming home with me. I just hope that I can get a crate of Calville Blancs. I've become accustomed to it.

Date: 2007-10-29 07:12 pm (UTC)Do you want us to bring you a gallon or two of unpasteurized cider again? I'll be taking orders at pre-cook, but I'm assuming that you won't be there.

I hope that's not too much of an imposition.
Thanks so much for getting all this,
Luke
