lucianusWe had a very nice weekend, easy and low key. Friday I took a flex day and prepared the house and food for our dinner guests. We had herooftheage, mara, pamelina and unclejohn over for roast beef and fine wine. Saturday I worked and then went to the laundromat to help J. with the washing. Afterwards we went to Doyles because altho we had a lot of food on hand neither of us had the umph to pull dinner together. We came home at watched tv and found the movie "The Libertine" on On Demand. Tertiary syphilis is a real bitch. Sunday was a delightful lost day. We got up late and while J. looked at flatware patterns, I made up some viking style bead necklaces. Later we cut out tunicas then watched mystery shows on tv. J. finished the crochet project he was working on and I cut out some sheet brass decorations to go with the necklaces. Then finally to bed.
This coming weekend we're off to New York State to a metalsmith's symposium. We're planning to camp so I need to start pulling together our bedding and long johns. There are some good classes promised, so we're really looking forward to it.
