Here are two upcoming events for families that I thought might be of interest:

Museum Family Program
Wall Art Stories

May 21, Noon-1:30pm or 2:30-4pm
Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology
11 Divinity Avenue, Cambridge

Why do people paint murals or wall art? Join us to unravel the mysteries of stories painted by artists long ago. Explore an incredible mural from a Maya site and then make and take home your own piece of wall art. Appropriate for ages 8 and up accompanied by an adult. $5 per child with Peabody Museum admission. Advance reservations required and space is limited. For more information email or call 617-495-3216.

Arnold Arboretum Event
Family Drop-In Activities

May 28, 11am-1pm
Arnold Arboretum, Hunnewell Building
125 Arborway, Jamaica Plain

Activities may include scavenger hunts, science investigations, craft activities, stories, guided walks, and more. Discover something new each month! These events are free, and you can participate for as long or as short a time as you like. Events are held under a tent outside of the Hunnewell Building, or inside when the weather is bad. For more information email or call 617-384-5209.

On April 29, we poured 374lbs of bronze at the studio. I took a few photos during the proceedings and they are at my Shutterfly site.

Enjoy!
