Letter to the residents of Boston
Dec. 4th, 2007 09:02 amDear Dimwits,
When there is a snowfall, city ordinances require homeowners to shovel the sidewalks in front of their houses. On my walk to work this morning no more than 20% percent of you had done so. I am not asking for much, simply pushing the snow shovel to create a little path is enough, you do not need to clear the entire sidewalk. I was forced to pick my way along over rutted ice that was inch deep slush before it froze. Doing so is very awkward, especially so since my back has been hurting me for the past week, and there were places where it was so treacherous that I was forced to walk in the street.
Please as a courtesy to myself and other pedestrians please go out and put down some ice melter and sand NOW.
No love,
Lucianus1
