I spent the day going thru herbarium sheets as there was a scare that we might have some creepy crawlies in the collection. After work I fought my way down the VFW parkway to the home depot and finally bought the gas grill I've been wanting since before the Porch Project from Hell started. Then I continued fighting my way back around to the pet store, got cat food and bought a Fluval 104 for the fishtank in the office. Its the little baby version of the one we have on the big tank in the dining room. Then I got home and soon after jdulac came in. We walked up to the El Oriental de Cuba restaurant which is finally open today. I'm so happy it's back and there was even a guy from the news there shooting footage. It has been under construction for over a year since it was firebombed late one night. The place was packed and it took quite a while to get our food but the wait was so worth it. I had the rice special with shrimp and J had a chicken dish. Yum! Yum!
